Ensayo: Chapters 1, 2, 3

 Foreward

This is the sequel to Celeste. It can be read independently of Celeste, but it does follow from Celeste.Table of Contents

A council of twelve sat around a round table in white robes as they glowed. Glowed because they had no mass, they were massless energy. Where they sat was outside a Universe where to move a mass m, to excel it to an acceleration a, you had to apply a force F directly proportional to the quantity of acceleration ma. That is in the Universe that they were outside of it was always true that:

F=ma

But since for these beings of massless energy — which we could say consisted of two types we could call masculine and feminine — it was true for their bodies that m=0. Thus being massless

F=ma

F=(0)a

F=0

The force F they had to exert to move themselves was zero. Therefore, they did not require energy to walk upon the flat plane upon which they resided.

However, for the people within the Universe, if they wanted to travel against a resisting force F, like in walking up a hill on their home planet that had an acceleration a=g pulling down against their trajectory on their mass m over the vertical component of their journey, which if it was to the top of the hill, was the height of the hill h. Thus the work W done to the walk to the top of the hill was mgh. In this Universe if they walked to the top of the hill, then in burning energy to walk to the top of the hill, which came from food they ate, they converted that chemical energy into potential energy P.E. stored in themselves. Stored in themselves because they could now create energy of motion, kinetic energy K.E. in sliding frictionlessly down that hill. Since as potential energy P.E. would in this case be decreasing because h was decreasing in P.E.=mgh to h now equals some value y, then K.E. was increasing in K.E.=1/2(mv^2) where v is velocity. This last equation does not follow so simply as the others but can be taken as true for our purposes because it is energy of motion, that is energy in terms of velocity v.  And this was the deal that the massless energy forms outside the universe made with the creator, that if they were to make this Universe and endow it with life in their form that had a free will, then if they wanted energy of motion K.E. they would have to deplete their potential energy P.E. and that it further had to be that it could only be restored through work W, meaning for this Universe that energy was conserved. That is, for the Universe, potential energy plus kinetic energy equals some constant C. That is:

P.E. + K.E. = C

That is, if C is to remain constant, if K.E. energy increases we must have that P.E. potential energy decreases. Conversely if we increase our potential energy, we have decreased our  kinetic energy for C to remain constant. So if at the top of the hill C=mgh, for any value of height y:

mgy+1/2(mv^2)=mgh

If y=0, we are at the bottom of the hill and we have

mg(0)+1/2(mv^2)=mgh

Or,…

1/2(mv^2)=mgh

Which means the maximum velocity that is attained is at the bottom of the hill and is given by:

v=sqrt(2gh)

By the square root of 2 times the gravity multiplied by the height h. If you want your velocity v at the bottom of a hill on your planet with gravity g to be faster, you have to climb to the top of a hill (do work W) that has a higher h. This was the deal that was made.

But could you escape this situation, by being clever and using your free will, as these beings did who created the Universe, and its life, and become free?

Of course such plans were underway by some peoples on some planets in this Universe where energy was conserved. And, in all of them they had an approach in common; to decrease their mass so as to require less energy to move themselves by fasting and living on the air they breathe, and by through calming their mind to have control of their bodily functions and bringing them down as well. If their bodily functions could through this practice be calmed to zero excitement, their mass would be zero, because their energy required to lift even a finger would be zero. This attained they would cease to physically exist and slip out of the Universe, that is out of the realm of space and time, and into a place of the beings outside the Universe of robes, and glowing massless energy. The realm of the Light-Beings.

Chapter 2

The Light Beings had created the Universe as what could be termed an Organic Computer: The analog to an electronic computing machine. Instead of electronic circuits that could receive instructions via switches in their design that were either off (0) or on (1) where any number can be created by a string of zeros and ones, like

0=0

1=1

10=2

11=3

100=4

101=5

110=6

111=7

.

.

.

And so on…

Thus anything calculable could be calculable through the sequencing of zeros and ones, switches that were on or off…as structured by programs, our routines…

The motions of the stars around the galaxies and the planets around the stars were routines and subroutines, respectively.

But this organic computer that was the Universe was different than the electronic computers made by beings in the Universe. Subroutines of the planets orbiting their respective stars were the biological life forms that inhabited them. This made the universe a much different kind of the thing because these routines, the actions of the life forms, were the actions of something that had free will. In other words the programs running ultimately, unpredictable routines meant the output was indeterminate. Why would the light-beings do this? The reason is because though they had free will they were bound to a universe where energy was conserved, which meant they had to make decisions according to what they thought was best for themselves. But these people lived on different planets with different circumstances, and thus different challenges put before them. Their different decisions under their free will would have different results and different outcomes.

And, this was precisely it, the light-beings outside the Universe created The Universe such that it had intelligent life forms with free wills, but under constrictions like a Universe where energy was conserved so that in their making decisions under the different philosophies given a constriction, they could learn what the results would be. In other words light-beings outside the Universe were running simulations for themselves. However, the people of the Universe were given the opportunity by way their free will to escape conservation of energy and become free. In turn the light beings received the results of the simulations so they could make decisions for themselves, because though they were no longer subject to a Universe of conservation of energy and physical bodies, they were not yet God, and thus not infinitely free in all aspects of what freedom can be.Chapter 3

The Council of Light Beings (Who are outside the Universe) met around the light table and the head for it for that week spoke:

Light-Being One: “Fellow Ethereals of particular interest in our simulations is what is going on on Ensayo and Celest. Ethereal Two can you refresh us all on these two planets and why they might be important to any decisions now.”

Ethereal Two: “Yes, certainly. Ensayo and Celeste are in geometrically diametric opposition in the Galaxy Soldar with Celeste about two thirds out towards its edge at about the 65th galactic latitude and about plus 45 degrees along it, and Ensayo is at about the negative 65th galactic latitude and about negative 45 degrees along it. While Celeste is a planet of tropical paradises, and as such has little technological industry, its economy mostly depends on tourism. As such they are rooted in no ambitious plan to develop a hyperdrive to make them capable of intergalactic travel though they do have one going. They do manufacture some nuclear starships making them an interstellar civilization.Their paradigm is religion based. While they feel exploration beyond the galaxy would be fine, they mostly focus on faith, that through belief in their holy galactic mother Celeste, for whom their planet is named, and their religion established by her son Relgesh, they can pass to an eternal existence in the beyond after dying. Ensayo on the other hand practices a science of knowing God through self-realization. While they as well have nuclear starships, their focus is in eliminating false ego to break out of the cycle of rebirth, and attain through a discipline of breathing and fasting the ability to leave their body, to enter the realm they believe is inhabited by their lord The Enlightened One. Many of their enlightened teachers have achieved extraordinary feats of reaching a state of not needing food, water, and air, and a few of these have actually left the physical realm for what we could only assume may be a realm not unlike the one where we are now. These two planets are important to us now because we are currently at the dilemma of trying to decide between faith or knowledge of the self to pass into the next phase of our existence. The things that play out on these philosophically diametrically opposed approaches of these two planets becomes very pertinent to any decisions we may make now.”

Ethereal One: “Does anyone else here have something to add… Yes, ethereal five.”

Ethereal Five: “Yes, I think attention should be paid to the planet Kalest orbiting the star Descubre at the 70th galactic latitude about 37 degrees along it. They are a secular world with an ambitious program to develop hyperdrive and a program of intergalactic exploration. They are currently looking at ways to encourage both Celeste and Ensayo, among other worlds in their galaxy to become more ambitious in developing hyperdrive. Their aim is to get as many planets on board as possible with extragalactic exploration so they can form a Galactic Federation for which they can answer the greater questions of existence through exploring the other countless galaxies of their Universe. While we are beings of massless energy and the laws of conservation of energy do not apply to us as they do in their Universe, we are still beings of energy which are subject to a physical science. Thus, while the options of Celeste and the options of Ensayo provide two possible paths for us as ethereal beings, we might want to include the option of using the sciences of exploration to consider exploration of the greater realms beyond us that we do not totally understand.
